Founded in 2012, Bold is Asia-Pacific’s only specialised PR and communications agency for the media, marketing and advertising industries.

TOBY HEMMING
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Toby has over a decade of top-level experience in helping some of the world’s largest and most successful companies translate their ideas into great stories.

Prior to founding Bold Media, he held a number of executive level positions including Head of Corporate Affairs for News Limited’s News Digital Media where he was instrumental in bringing one of Australia’s first publisher programmatic trading desks to market.

Prior to this, Toby worked within Corporate Communications at BSkyB in London. He has over ten years’ experience as a journalist contributing to various publications both in Australia and the UK, and holds an MA in Public Relations and Communications from The University of the Arts London.

 

 

ALEX HAYES
MANAGING PARTNER

Alex is a highly-experienced journalist who has specialised in the media and marketing industry since 2012. During that time he has been editor of both B&T and Mumbrella, helping to challenge the industry and drive global conversations on a number of topics including scam, media transparency and female representation.

He set up Mumbrella’s commercial content arm, Bespoke, working with dozens of clients to tell brand stories in a meaningful way across a range of mediums. On top of that he has also curated dozens of industry-leading events and awards programs.

Alex’s deep industry knowledge and extensive contact book means he is able to deliver a competitive advantage for clients in a number of ways.

OLIVER BUDGEN
MANAGING PARTNER, ASIA

Oliver is Head of APAC at Bold, leading the Singapore office and responsible for client services, strategy and business development.

Oliver has over six years experience in technology, marketing and communications, for both b2b and b2c clients. Having spent the last two years in Asia, Oliver has delivered communications and content marketing strategies for global brands including MullenLowe Group, AdParlor and Hootsuite.

Outside of work, you’ll find Oliver practicing ping pong, trying out various food projects or running experiential supper clubs around Singapore.

DIVIKA JETHMAL
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Divika is a graduate from Singapore University of Social Sciences. A marketer by profession and a storyteller by passion, she comes armed with millennial insights, and is packed with punchlines.

She began her career interning at Edelman and J. Walter Thompson, where she worked closely with a diverse group of local and regional clients. She also briefly held a content marketing position at a FinTech start-up in Singapore.

Divika is happiest when surrounded by good people, good conversation, and good books.
