Founded in 2012, Bold is Asia-Pacific’s only specialised PR and communications agency for the media, marketing and advertising industries.

Our experienced team has helped APAC’s most ambitious marketing, advertising and technology brands differentiate themselves to stand out from the crowd through strategy, media relations, content marketing, social media, awards and marketing.

TOBY HEMMING
MANAGING DIRECTOR

Toby has over a decade of top-level experience in helping some of the world’s largest and most successful companies translate their ideas into great stories.

Prior to founding Bold Media, he held a number of executive level positions including Head of Corporate Affairs for News Limited’s News Digital Media where he was instrumental in bringing one of Australia’s first publisher programmatic trading desks to market.

Prior to this, Toby worked within Corporate Communications at BSkyB in London. He has over ten years’ experience as a journalist contributing to various publications both in Australia and the UK, and holds an MA in Public Relations and Communications from The University of the Arts London.

 

 

TRISTAN TOBIN
HEAD OF CONTENT

Tristan joined Bold Media in 2015, quickly rising from Account Manager to Head of Content. A journalist by training, Tristan’s focus on facts, figures and human insight help turn clients’ business progress into compelling industry news and opinion.

A graduate of the University of Queensland, Tristan has held media and marketing positions in the UK and Australia, including roles at Christies and Adshel. His experience across multimedia production, including video and audio scripting, capture and editing, uniquely place Tristan to produce branded content that’s ready for the digital age.

OLIVER BUDGEN
HEAD OF APAC

Oliver is Head of APAC at Bold, leading the Singapore office and responsible for client services, strategy and business development.

Oliver has over six years experience in technology, marketing and communications, for both b2b and b2c clients. Having spent the last two years in Asia, Oliver has delivered communications and content marketing strategies for global brands including MullenLowe Group, AdParlor and Hootsuite.

Outside of work, you’ll find Oliver practicing ping pong, trying out various food projects or running experiential supper clubs around Singapore.

EMILIE SHARP
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Emilie recently graduated from UNSW with a Bachelor of Media (PR and Advertising) with Distinction. Throughout the course of her degree, Emilie interned at three of Sydney’s leading PR agencies, managed the social media for F45 Chatswood and wrote for UNSW’s student-run magazine, Blitz and online health and wellness publication, Sporteluxe.

Emilie joins the team from Zing, an independent consumer and corporate PR agency where she worked on Nikon, Intel Security (now McAfee) and IGA.

When she’s not fulfilling her role as Bold’s Social Queen, Emilie is either travelling the world, at the gym, or contemplating her next cup of tea.
